Credit Account 360 Function - Fields Description

At this function, user will come across various fields or columns that needs to be maintained with relevant data.

The descriptions of the respective field or column, are as follows:-

Account Information (Panel)

Please Enter Search Value

This is the value to be used to search for the related account record.

Note: If the value inputted into this field is relating to Account No., Name, or ID No., click once on the related Account No., or Name, or ID No button, accordingly.

Account No.

This is the button to be clicked once, to search and retrieve the relevant account records.

Note: Click once on this button if the value inputted at the 'Please Enter Search Value' field is relating to existing account number.

Name

This is the button to be clicked once, to search and retrieve the relevant account records.

Note: Click once on this button if the value inputted at the 'Please Enter Search Value' field is relating to existing customer names.

ID No.

This is the button to be clicked once, to search and retrieve the relevant account records.

Note: Click once on this button if the value inputted at the 'Please Enter Search Value' field is relating to existing Customer IDs.

  • This panel will pop upon the function screen opened.

  • The purpose of this panel is for user to search for the relevant credit facility account record.

This is the button to be clicked once, to search and retrieve the relevant account records.

<Accounts Listing> (Sub-Panel)

Account No.(Status)

This is the system generated unique reference number of the respective credit facility account and the related status of the account, e.g A - Active.

Name

This is the customer name of the main holder of the account.

ID No.

This is the unique identification number of an individual (as in a person).

Reln

This is the code and description of the customer-account relationship.

The options that can be displayed, are as follows:-

  • M - Main Holder

  • G - Guarantor

Product Description.

This is the credit facility’s code and name of the product contained in the account.

  • This window will pop up, after user has clicked once on one of the available search criterion buttons, located at the <Account Information> panel, when there are more than one record found.

  • The purpose of this window is for user to select a relevant account record found.

Account Information (Panel)

Customer Name/ Customer ID.

This is the main holder’s customer name, and the related Customer ID number.

Account No.

This is a system generated credit facility account number.

Product

This is the currency code and product code with the related brief product description of the credit facility account.

Account Info

This is the brief details of the account, of which presently it is the status of the credit facility account, e.g., A - Active.

First Release On

This is the date that first disbursement of the credit facility has been performed on the account.

Tenor

This is the credit financing term of the credit facility, e.g., 108 By Month.

Expiry Date

This is the last date of the facility, and rightfully the last date that full repayment of the facility is to be made.

  • This panel will be displayed, after user has clicked twice on an account record at the Accounts Search pop-up window.

  • The purpose of this panel is for user to view the details of the selected Account record.

Summary (Section)

Main (Sub-Section)

Gross Balance

This is the credit facility gross outstanding amount (in account currency), e.g., total of interest and principal balance amount including all other charges, deductible items' amount and penalty interest on late payment (that must be accounted as the credit facility debtor) of the selected credit facility account.

Facility Type

This is the indicator whether the credit facility is of the revolving nature, depending on the related product parameters' availability and settings made.

For example: Non-Rev means (revolving nature)

Approved Limit

This is the initial facility amount (in account currency) that has been approved in a credit application.

Total Due

This is the accumulated total due outstanding repayment amount (in account currency).

Total Arrears

This is the total of amount of credit facility instalments or repayments (in account currency) that has been overdue or missed by borrowers.

Next Due Date

This is the next scheduled repayment date.

Average Day Past Due

This is the average number of days that the required repayment on a credit facility account has been overdue or missed by borrowers.

Principal Arrears

This is the total credit facility principal outstanding amount (in account currency) that has been overdue or missed by borrower.

Next Payment Amount

This is the next scheduled repayment amount (in account currency).

Risk Status

This is the credit facility account’s present stage of the Expected Credit Loss (ECL), e.g., SS SUBSTANDARD/NPL (S2).

Interest in Arrears

This is the total interest outstanding amount that has been overdue for payment.

No.of Inst Unpaid/MIA/DPD

This refers to the (number of instalment not paid by customer/ months in arrears/days past due).

Remarks

This is an additional description relating to the credit facility.

TDPA

This refers to the brief details of the possible outstanding repayable items with related breakdown details of the credit facility account, as follows:-

Tenure/ Paid/ Due/ Arrears (in months)

60/1/4/3

Meaning: 60 months financing period/ Paid 1 month/ Due 4 months/ Not paid for 3 months.

Last Paid Date

This is the most recent date that repayment has been made to the credit facility account.

Overdue Repayment (Sub-Section)

Late Charges Last Accrued Date

This is the last date that late charges has been accrued.

Late Charges Accrued Amount

This is the accrued amount of the late charge (in account currency).

Due Date

This refers to the date of which a repayment amount is due in the credit facility account.

Item

This is the code associated with the respective credit module item, e.g., IST - Instalment, that is to be repaid.

Amount Due

This is the credit repayment item amount that is due for repayment in the credit facility account.

Amount Paid

This is the credit module item amount that has been paid.

Amount O/S

This is the credit repayment item amount that is still unpaid in the credit facility account.

Last Paid

This is the most recent date that repayment has been made on the respective credit module item.

Days Overdue

This is the number of days that the credit module item amount has been overdue in the credit facility account.

Status Info (Sub-Section)

NPL Date

This is the date the credit facility account turned non-performing status.

Last Reminder Type(Date)

This is the date the last reminder of a certain reminder type has been issued.

R&R Type (Date)

This is the indicator whether the adjustment that has been made to the credit facility account can be considered, as a restructure, or a reschedule, type of adjustment.

Freeze Info

This is the additional comment related to the account, under the 'freeze' status.

Litigation Details

This is the brief details of the stage of the litigation process of which the credit facility account is undergoing.

Balance (Section)

Item

This is the code associated with the respective credit module item, e.g., Principal, Interest and Processing Fees.

Ccy

This is the currency code of the respective credit module items applicable in the credit facility account.

Amount O/S

This is the present item’s outstanding amount (in item currency) in the credit facility account.

Total Charged

This is the item’s outstanding amount (in item currency) that has been charged into the credit facility account.

Total Waived

This is the charged item’s outstanding amount (in item currency) that has been waived in the credit facility account.

Total Writte-Off

This is the item’s outstanding amount (in item currency) that has been written off in the credit facility account, following a series of reminders and legal actions against the borrower and that the chances of obtaining repayment is very slim.

Unearned

This is the total interest amount that has not been realised as income yet (in account currency) in the credit facility account.

Accrued

This is the total interest amount (in account currency) that has been accumulated or accrued in the credit facility account.

Account Details (Section)

Current Info (Sub-Section)

Tenor Detail

This is the term of the credit facility, e.g., 108 By Month.

Rest Type

This is the closing balance type applied for the calculation of interest in the account, e.g., M - Monthly, F - Flat, depending on the related product parameter settings.

Total Released Amount

This is the total credit facility amount that has been released.

Commence Date

This is the start date that repayment calculation will commence in the credit facility account.

Current Cycle

This is the dates of the present interest cycle, s.g., 03-Jul-2023 / 30-Jun-2026.

Note: The cycle date is determine by the account’s commence date, rest type, due date pattern, facility term, holiday and other related product parameters.

Undrawn Amount(%)

This is the facility amount (in account currency) and in percentage that has not been disbursed yet. It is calculated by taking the approved facility limit amount minus the total released amount.

Expiry Date

This is the last date of the facility, and the last date that repayment of the facility is required to be made.

Rest Type Cycle

This is the start date and end date of each interest calculation cycle of the credit facility account, e.g., 03-Jul-2023 / 30-Jun-2026.

First Release Date

This is the date of the first drawdown of the credit facility.

Unearned Interest

This is the total interest amount that has not been realised as income yet (in account currency) in the credit facility account.

Balance Used for Current Month

This is the credit facility’s principal balance amount (in account currency) that is used to calculate the interest.

Last Release Date

This is the last date of facility disbursement.

Net Balance

This is the credit facility’s principal balance amount (in account currency) after reducing the present repayment period’s principal amount due.

Release This Month

This is the present month’s total disbursed amount (in account currency) in the account.

Final Release Date

This is the date of the last disbursement made to the account.

Drawdown Transaction (Sub-Section)

Date

This is the date the respective facility release transaction has been performed or created in system.

Journal No.

This is the system generated unique journal number of the respective facility release transaction that has been performed in system, e.g. 21-140318-00000048 (Format: <Module No.><YYMMDD><8 digit sequence number>).

Status

This is the status of the respective transaction performed in system.

The possible values that can be displayed, are as follows:

  • N - Normal (indicates that the transaction that has performed successfully is in its original record)

  • R - Reversal (indicates that the transaction that has been performed at least a day before has been reversed)

  • E - Error Correction (indicates that the transaction that has been performed on the same day has been corrected and replaced with a normal transaction record)

  • C - Cheque Return (indicates that the cheque in a transaction that has been performed earlier has been returned)

Trn Code

This is the user defined transaction code describing the respective transaction that has been performed in system, e.g., 02300 - Loan Disbursement (Net Principal Drawdown), 02006 – Payout by NOSTRO (Disbursement) and more.

Item

This is the related credit item code of the respective facility release transaction that has been performed in system, e.g., PRCF – Net Principal Drawdown, DISB - Disbursement and more.

Amount

This is the transacted facility release amount (in the transaction currency) performed in system.

Description

This is the brief details of the respective transaction code e.g., 02300 - Loan Disbursement (Net Principal Drawdown), 02006 – Payout by NOSTRO (Disbursement) and more.

Ccy

This is the transaction currency used.

Trn Mode

This is the mode of the transaction, e.g., CHQ, JNL and NST.

Trn Type

This is the transaction category, e.g., DISB.

Reference No.

This is the reference number that is applicable in the respective transaction performed on the account, e.g., cheque no.

Trn Time

This is the date and time the transaction was performed.

Trn Branch

This is the code of the branch that transaction was performed.

Rcpt No.

This is the receipt number of the transaction.

Act. Date

This is the actual date that the transaction was performed.

Note: The value of this column maybe different from the value at the 'Date' column, for certain transaction that can be backdated.

Source

This is the indicator of the repayment priority order scheme source, e.g., STD means taking from the standard payment source via the product parameter, REPAYM0020.

Trn Key

This is the system generated reference number of the respective transaction performed in system.

Note: There will be one transaction key for every master receipt key or allocation master key.

Ex. Rate

This refers to the currency exchange rate that has been used in a transaction record.

Dr.GL Code

This refers to the general ledger (GL) account number that has been used to debit the transaction item amount in the transaction performed or created in system.

Cr.GL Code

This refers to the general ledger (GL) account number that has been used to credit the transaction amount in the transaction performed or created in system.

Sum Type

This is the internal system reference code, e.g., DRO - Debit Other Items, SY - System Items, DR - Debit Items, CR - Credit Items, EXP - Expenses Items and PP - Prepayment Items.

Finance Details (Sub-Section)

Rate Code

This is either the base interest rate code, or the fixed interest rate code of a credit facility pricing tier that has been applied to the account upon disbursement of the credit facility.

Rate Description

This is name of either the base interest rate code, or the fixed interest rate code of a credit facility pricing tier that has been applied to the account upon disbursement of the credit facility.

From

This is the starting period range of a repayment schedule summary record.

Examples:

Frequency - 1 Monthly From Period - 1 To Period - 2, 3, 4…​…​.

Frequency - 3 Quarterly From Period - 1 To Period - 3, 6, 9…​…​.

To

This is the ending period range of a repayment schedule summary record.

Examples:

Frequency - 1 Monthly From Period - 1 To Period - 2, 3, 4…​…​.

Frequency - 3 Quarterly From Period - 1 To Period - 3, 6, 9…​…​.

Total Rate

This is the total of interest rate taking into consideration the value from the 'Rate Code' field and 'Margin Rate' field of a pricing tier that has been applied to the account upon disbursement of the credit facility.

Note: The value in this field is defaulted from the value set at the pricing scheme selected during the credit application creation.

Margin Rate

This is the margin rate value above or below the rate code value of a pricing tier that has been applied to the account upon disbursement of the credit facility.

Note: The value in this field is defaulted from the value set at the pricing scheme selected during the credit application creation.

Installment Amount

This is the facility repayment amount (in product currency) that is payable by customer.

Last Installment Amount

This is the final facility repayment amount (in product currency) that is payable by customer.

Total Finance Charges

This is the total interest charged amount (in product currency) on the credit facility.

Effective Rate

This is the interest rate on a credit facility that is restated from the nominal interest rate that is equivalent to the interest rate if compound interest was payable annually in arrears.

Note: This field will only be displayed and applicable, provided it is an upfront interest charging.

Other Finance Details (Sub-Section)

This sub-section will only display values, provided there are related credit item under financed in the same credit facility account.

Item

This is the related code of credit item that is being financed in the credit facility. Some example of credit items are such as, Mortgage Level Term Assurance (MLTA), or Legal Fee.

Amount

This is the credit item amount (in transaction currency) that is being financed in the credit facility.

Unearn/Expense Amount

This is the credit item amount (in transaction currency) that is being accrued which has yet to be realised as income or expenses in the credit facility account.

Subsidy Remaining (OPLS)

This is the operating lease’s incentive amount that has been provided to the lessee of the facility.

Subsidy Payment O/S

This is the operating lease’s incentive outstanding amount (in product currency) that is to be reimbursed to the lessor.

Collection (Section)

Collection Summary (Sub-Section)

Installment Paid (No)

This is the total collected periodic repayment amount (which includes principal and interest portion in account currency) and total collected periodic repayment count for the credit facility account.

-Of Which Principal

This is the total collected periodic principal outstanding amount (in account currency) for the credit facility account.

-Of Which Interest

This is the total collected periodic interest outstanding amount (in account currency) for the credit facility account.

Principal Prepaid

This is the total collected amount of the required 'prepaid' principal amount (in account currency) for the credit facility account.

Principal Serviced

This is the total principal outstanding amount (in account currency) of the credit facility account that has been repaid.

Note: This field value is applicable for credit facility of the 'interest servicing repayment type'.

Interest Serviced

This is the total interest outstanding amount (in account currency) of the credit facility account.

Note: This field value is applicable for credit facility of the 'interest servicing repayment type'.

Last Collection Date

This is the most recent date that repayment has been made to the credit facility account that has been repaid.

This Month Collection

This is the present month’s collected repayment amount (in account currency); present month’s collected for principal outstanding amount and interest or profit outstanding amount.

Grace Period Interest Serviced

This is the grace period interest amount (in account currency) of the credit facility account during progressive release period, that has been repaid.

Officer In Charge

This is the Staff ID of the officer-in-charge (OIC) in the financial institution for the credit facility account.

Unearned

This is the total interest amount (in account currency) that has been charged into the credit facility account, which has not been repaid nor been realised as income (in account currency) yet.

Note: This field value is applicable for credit facility that charges interest upfront.

Net Balance

This is the credit facility outstanding amount (in account currency) , taking the 'Gross Balance' less out the unearned interest or profit.

Note: This field value is applicable for credit facility that charges interest upfront.

Advance Payment

This is the total additional, or extra repayment amount collected (in account currency) in the credit facility account.

Collection Transaction (Sub-Section)

Last X Months

This is the most recent number of months to display the collection transaction records at the 'Collection Summary' sub-section.

Date

This is the date the respective transaction has been performed or created in system.

Journal No.

This is the system generated unique journal number of the respective transaction that has been performed in system, e.g. 21-140318-00000048 (Format: <Module No.><YYMMDD><8 digit sequence number>).

This is the status of the respective transaction performed in system.

This is the brought forward balance of the total of the credit items' amount in the credit facility account.

Date

This is the date the respective transaction has been performed or created in system.

Journal No.

This is the system generated unique journal number of the respective transaction that has been performed in system, e.g. 21-140318-00000048 (Format: <Module No.><YYMMDD><8 digit sequence number>).

Trn Code

This is the user defined transaction code describing the respective transaction that has been performed in system, e.g., 02300 - Loan Disbursement (Net Principal Drawdown), 02006 – Payout by NOSTRO (Disbursement) and more.

Item

This is the related credit item code of the respective transaction that has been performed in system, e.g., PRCF – Net Principal Drawdown, DISB - Disbursement and more.

Amount

This is the transacted amount (in the transaction currency) performed in system. This is a data display column.

Balance

This is the running balance (in base currency) after each transaction has been performed on the credit facility account.

This is the User ID of the user who is the 1st supervisor to the 'Maker' that has been assigned to perform override for the transaction to go through.

SPVR2

This is the User ID of the user who is the 2nd supervisor to the 'Maker' that has been assigned to perform override for the transaction to go through.

Rcpt. No

This is the receipt number of the transaction.

Act.Date

This refers to the actual date that the transaction was performed.

Note: The value of this column maybe different from the value at the 'Date' column, if the transaction has been back-dated.

Source

  • N - No (exclude from the balance)

This is the running number of the respective repayment record.

Due Date

This is the scheduled repayment date.

Repay Item

This is the credit facility item that is due for repayment, e.g., IST - instalment.

Amount Due

This is the repayable amount (in account currency).

Amount Paid

This is the repayment amount made.

Amount O/S

This is the credit facility item’s outstanding amount (in account currency) in the credit facility account.

Principal Due

This is the total principal outstanding amount (in account currency) due for repayment in the credit facility account.

Principal Paid

This is the total collected principal amount (in account currency) in the credit facility account.

Interest Due

This is the total interest outstanding amount (in account currency) due for repayment in the credit facility account.

Interest Paid

This is the total collected interest amount (in account currency) in the credit facility account.

Last Paid

This is the date of the recent repayment that has been made into the credit facility account.

Day Past Due

This is the number of days the credit facility has become overdue.

Summary (Sub-Section)

Category

This is the account’s repayment schedule summary type, e.g., T - Installment.

Type

This is the repayment type of the account, e.g., T - Installment.

Note: The options available for display will be depended on the system license purchased. Some other example options, are such as 'I - Interest Servicing' and 'K - Equal Principal'.

Freq/From/To

This refers to the repayment schedule’s frequency, (e.g., 1 - monthly, 3 - quarterly), the starting period and ending period, (e.g.,1 - 60).

Installment Amount

This is the periodic repayment amount of the credit facility.

Note: This is for accounts that follows the ‘Instalment’ repayment type.

Due Day

This is the repayment due day for each period’s repayment, e.g., 1 means 1st day of each calendar month.

Note: The possible values that can be displayed in this column is dependent on the account’s due date pattern. Due date pattern can be created using the 'Due Date Pattern' function. Each credit facility product can be tagged with the relevant due date pattern scheme code.

Principal

This is the principal portion amount of an installment to be repaid into the credit facility account that follows the ‘K – Equal Principal’ repayment type.

Pricing (Section)

Late Charges (Sub-Section)

Ccy

This is the currency of the credit facility’s late charges imposed arising from late repayment.

Charge Type

This is the category of the late charge charged on the credit facility account, e.g., LC - Late Charges/ Compensation.

Method

This is the applicable late charge method, e.g., F - Fixed Rate, P - Prevailing Rate, A - Fixed Amount and D - Other Rate.

Charge On

This refers to the base amount to be used to compute the late charges, or penalty.

The possible values that can be displayed, are as follows:-

  • 1 - Amount Overdue

  • 2 - Amount Overdue (P only)

  • 3 - Gross Balance

  • 4 - Total Principal Outstanding

  • X - Not Applicable

Grace Day

This refers to the number of days after which late charges, or penalty will be imposed.

Margin/Rate/Amount

This is the applicable rate value to be used for the computation of the late charges, or penalty, for the case of fixed charge method.

Note:

  • This is a fixed rate value if the selected charge method is 'F - Fixed Rate'.

Margin Type

The possible value that can be displayed, are as follows:

  • Y - Yes (indicates that the new total interest or profit rate has been adjusted to the ceiling interest rate.)

  • N - No (indicates that the new total interest or profit rate has not been affected by the ceiling interest rate.)

Floor Rate

Flooring rate refers to the lowest total interest rate to be applied to a credit facility amount for the computation of interest payable by borrower. This is an indicator that the new total interest rate has been adjusted to the flooring rate for the disbursed amount of a drawdown request in the selected credit facility account.

The possible value that can be displayed, are as follows:

  • Y - Yes (indicates that the new total interest or profit rate has been adjusted to the flooring interest rate.)

  • N - No (indicates that the new total interest or profit rate has not been affected by the flooring interest rate.)

Prepayment Penalty (Sub-Section)

Type

This indicates the category of prepayment, e.g., Partial Redemption, or Full Redemption.

Scheme

This refers to the applied prepayment penalty scheme code and description.

Ccy

This is the currency applied on the prepayment penalty scheme code.

Lock In Period (Month)

This is the credit facility bonding period of which penalty will be imposed if the facility is been settled within the period (defined as 'month').

Rebate Percent

This is the applicable rebate in percentage value during early settlement. The applicable percentage value to be rebated is depended on the policy of respective financial institutions or banks.

This refers to the expected credit losses (also known as provision on all outstanding amount, except for the interest in suspense amount) balance brought forward from last year (in drawdown currency) of the selected credit facility account.

This is the provision for unrecoverable credit facility outstanding amount (in drawdown currency) for the year-to-date (YTD) period of the account.

Note: YTD refers to the period starting from 1st January of the current year up until today’s date.

YTD-Writeback

This refers to the amount of credit facility outstanding (in drawdown currency) that has been repaid by borrower, thus has been written back for the year-to date (YTD) period of the account.

YTD-Uncollected

This refers to the uncollected repayment amount (in account currency) for the year-to date period.
