Common Code Function - Update Scenarios

Scenario 1: Update Existing Code Description

Details

Step 1

From the Tree Menu, search for the Common Code function, and then click once on it.

Step 2

By default, system will display the screen with unfiltered data.

Note:

  • All the available codes' categories will be listed.

  • User needs to either go through the entire list or to narrow down the list using the available search criteria.

Step 3

Click once on the Details icon of a category of codes.

Step 4

System will display the details of the selected category of codes.

Step 5

Proceed to overwrite the 'Description' column value, and the click once on the OK button.

Step 6

Lastly, click once on the Save button. Upon confirmation on data saving, system will capture and save all data updated. Otherwise, changes will not be saved.

Note: Click once on the Cancel button, to discard all changes made.

Scenario 2: Add Codes to a Category of Codes

Details

Step 1

From the Tree Menu, search for the Common Code function, and then click once on it.

Step 2

By default, system will display the screen with unfiltered data.

Note:

  • All the available codes' categories will be listed.

  • User needs to either go through the entire list or to narrow down the list using the available search criteria.

Step 3

Click once on the Details icon of a category of codes.

Step 4

System will display the details of the selected category of codes.

Step 5

Then, click once on the Add button.

Step 6

System will display the Code Details pop-up window.

Step 7

Proceed to input value into each of the fields at the Code Details pop-up window, and then, click once on the OK button.

Note: Repeat Step 5 to 7 until all the required codes have been added into a category, before proceeding to Step 8.

Step 8

Click once on the Save button. Upon confirmation on data saving, system will capture and save all data updated.

Note: Click once on the Cancel button, to discard the changes made.
