Password Policy Function - Introduction

This function allows user to define a standard password practice for all employees across the bank, or financial institution. This is crucial because password plays an important role in protecting data privacy. Password provides the first line of defense against unauthorised access to personal information.

Some examples of password settings in this function are as follows :-

  • Configure a minimum password length.

  • Enable the setting that requires passwords to meet complexity requirements, e.g determine uppercase / lowercase character and determine special characters.

  • Enforce password history policy.
