Credit Scoring Scheme Maintenance Function - Fields Description

At this function, user will come across various fields or columns that needs to be maintained with relevant data.

The descriptions of the respective field or column, are as follows:-

Credit Scoring Scheme

This is the scheme or plan code that can be used by system, to compute the total credit scores of the relevant assessed or evaluted party in the respective credit application for reference during credit application recommendation or approval.

Description

This is the brief definition of the value defined at 'Credit Scoring Scheme' field.

Evaluate On

This is the party to be involved in a credit application assessment, or evaluation process for the computation of total credit scores.

Presently, the only available option is the 'M - Main Holder' option.

Last Approved Date

This is the most recent date that the respective credit scoring scheme has been approved.

Pending Approval

This is to indicate that the respective credit scoring scheme is pending for approval before it can be used for computation in system.

Note: The check box in this column will be checked, once the Submit button has been clicked once for the respective credit scoring scheme.

Inactive

This is an indicator whether that particular scheme is inactive. Inactive credit scoring scheme cannot be used for computation, even though it has been tagged to the related credit scoring business rule.

Credit Scoring Scheme Details (Panel)

Credit Scoring Scheme

This is the scheme or plan code that can be used by system, to compute the total credit scores of the relevant assessed or evaluted party in the respective credit application for reference during credit application recommendation or approval.

Description

Status

This is an indicator whether the credit scoring scheme is still valid to be used for the computation of total credit scores for the respective credit application.

The available options, are as follows:-

  • Active

  • Inactive

Only active status credit scoring scheme can be used for the computation of the total credit scores for the respective credit application.

Final Score Computation Method

This is the computation method used for calculating the total credit scores for the respective credit application.

Presently, the only possible option is the 'Sum' method.

Copy Items

This is the button to be clicked once for system to display the 'Copy From' pop-up window for user to select the relevant existing credit scoring scheme code copy all the credit scoring items and weights, and related guidelines for modification and use in the new credit scoring scheme.

This is the date that the credit scoring scheme has been created.

<Created By>

This is the User ID of the user who has created the credit scoring scheme.

<Updated On>

This is the date that the credit scoring scheme has been updated.

This is the User ID of the user who has updated the credit scoring scheme.

Scoring Scheme (Sub-Panel)

Effective Date

This is the date of which a particular credit scoring scheme has been made available for use in the system.

Status

This is an indicator whether the credit scoring scheme has been approved (A - Approved), or is pending for approval (P - Pending).

In Effect

This is an indicator whether the scoring scheme has been approved and can be readily used for computation in system.

Created On

This is the date that the credit scoring scheme has been created.

Created By

This is the User ID of the user who has created the credit scoring scheme.

Effective Date

This is the date of which a particular credit scoring scheme has been made available for use in the system.

Status

This is an indicator whether the credit scoring scheme has been approved (A - Approved), or is pending for approval (P - Pending).

In Effect

This is an indicator whether the scoring scheme has been approved and can be readily used for computation in system.

This is the date that the credit scoring scheme has been created.

This is the User ID of the user who has created the credit scoring scheme.

This is the date that the credit scoring scheme has been updated.

Scoring Item

This is the code and description of the respective credit scoring items that is to be used to assess or evaluate the respective credit application for the computation of the relevant credit scores.

Mandatory

This is an indicator whether the respective credit scoring item is mandatory, of which the related assessment or evaluation questions relating to the credit application must be answered or completed for the total credit scores computation.

Scoring Item and Weight Details (Pop-Up Window)

Scoring Item

This is the description of the respective credit scoring item that is to be used to assess or evaluate the relevant party in the respective credit application for the computation of the related credit item score, e.g., Customer Age (Years).

Weight Type

This is the weightage method to be applied to the respective credit scoring item’s weight for related range of values, e.g., 'A - Absolute'.

Default Score

This is the credit score to associate with the respective credit scoring item, in the case if the assessed or evaluated value does not match any range of values, defined below.

Mandatory

This is an indicator whether the respective credit scoring item is mandatory, of which the related assessment or evaluation questions relating to the credit application must be answered or completed for the total credit scores computation.

From Value

This is the starting value of a range of assessed or evaluated values to derive for a score and weight of a credit scoring item.

To Value

This is the ending value of a range of assessed or evaluated values to derive for a score and weight of a credit scoring item.

Weight Type

This is the weightage method to be applied to the respective credit scoring item’s weight for related range of values, e.g., 'A - Absolute'.

Weight

This is the assessed or evaluated weight or score, based on a related range of values on the respective credit scoring item.

Recommend For Reject

This is an indicator whether the respective weight and score of a range of assessed or evaluated values on a credit scoring item is to trigger the suggestion for rejection on the credit application under assessment or evaluation.

Credit Scoring Item Weight (Pop-Up Window)

From Value

This is the starting value of a range of assessed or evaluated values to derive for a score and weight of a credit scoring item.

To Value

This is the ending value of a range of assessed or evaluated values to derive for a score and weight of a credit scoring item.

Weight Type

This is the weightage method to be applied to the respective credit scoring item’s weight for related range of values, e.g., 'A - Absolute'.

Weight

This is the assessed or evaluated weight or score, based on a related range of values on the respective credit scoring item.

Recommend For Reject

Deviate Level

This is to indicate the level of difference from the expected range of assessed or evaluated values of a particular credit scoring item.

The possible values that can be selected, are as follows:-

  • 0 - No Deviation

  • 1 - Fair Deviation

  • 2 - Minor Deviation

  • 3 - Major Deviation
