Open Branch Function - Update Scenarios

Scenario 1: Perform Open Branch to Allow Transactions

Details

Step 1

From the Tree Menu, search for the Open Branch function, and then click once on it.

Step 2

By default, system will display the screen with details of all the available branch codes in system, subject to the common access rights by branch type.

Note:

  • If the logon user is from the 'data centre', he will only be able to view his branch only.

  • If the logon user is from 'head office', he will be able to view his head office branch code, and all the branches from the region type, normal branch type and mini branches under the normal branch type.

  • If the logon user is from a 'region' office, he will be able to view his region office, and all the branches under the normal branch type and mini branches under the normal branch type.

  • If the logon user is from a 'normal' branch, he will be able to view his normal branch and all the mini branches under it, if any.

  • The types of branches that will be displayed are dependent on the branch types pre-maintained at the 'Branch' function during system implementation stage or new branch opening.

Step 3

Mouse over the check box of a branch record, and click once on it, to select it.

Step 4

Click once on the Open Branch button.

Step 5

Upon successfully perform branch opening, a message will be displayed, whereby transaction can be performed on the selected branches.
