Function Authority Function - Fields Description

At this function, user will come across various fields or columns that needs to be maintained with relevant data.

The descriptions of the respective field or column, are as follows:-

Function List (Panel)

<Function List > Search Sub-Panel)

The search criteria in this sub-panel will filter the list of functions display below the function screen. The purpose is to narrow down the list for ease of searching for the relevant function code.

Function Name

This is the description of the respective function made available in system, e.g., Customer Maintenance.

Form ID

This is the unique reference number of the respective function in system, e.g., CIF2010.

Perms Category

This is the respective function’s permission category.

The options, are as follows:-

  • R - Report

  • E - Enquiry

  • F - Form

  • T - Transaction

  • D - Document

Module

This is the system unit, e.g. CIF- Customer Information File, LN - Loans, and CIF - Customer Information File, that contains the respective function.

This is the unique reference number of the respective function in system, e.g., CIF2010.

Function Name

This is the description of the respective function made available in system, e.g., Customer Maintenance.

This is the respective function’s permission category.

The options, are as follows:-

  • R - Report

  • E - Enquiry

  • F - Form

  • T - Transaction

  • D - Document

  • This panel will be display upon the function screen opened.

  • The purposes of this panel is for user to do the followings:-

    • Filter and search for the relevant function codes.

    • Select the relevant function code to set the required access rights.

Function Authority Details (Panel)

Function ID

This is the system internal unique code associated with the respective function or report, e.g., CIF_CUST_MAINT and 1000600.

Function Name

This is the description of the respective function made available in system, e.g., Customer Maintenance.

Module

This is the system unit, e.g. CIF- Customer Information File, LN - Loans, and CIF - Customer Information File, that contains the respective function.

Perms Category

This is the respective function’s permission category.

The available options, are as follows:-

  • R - Report

  • E - Enquiry

  • F - Form

  • T - Transaction

  • D - Document

Form ID

This is the unique reference number of the respective function in system, e.g., CIF2010.

Admin Function

This is to indicate that a certain function is only accessible by the users (the system administrator) of the financial institution created in system bearing the 'ADMIN - Administrators' user group.

The available options, are as follows:-

  • Yes (indicates is only accessible by the 'ADMIN' user group)

  • No (indicates any authorised user groups can access)

Action

This is the permitted function access modes.

Some possible options, are as follows:-

  • SELECT

  • INSERT

  • UPDATE

  • DELETE

  • PRINT

  • INTERBRN

User Group

This is the user group which has been granted a certain function access modes' permission, e.g., CRADM - Credit Administrators.

Level

This is the user level which has been granted a certain function access modes permission, e.g., 01.

1st Supervisor Group

This is the user group of the 1st supervisor who will be assigned to perform override approval for a certain function access modes, e.g., CRADM - Credit Administrators.

1st Supervisor Level

This is the user group of the 1st supervisor who will be assigned to perform override approval for a certain function access modes, e.g., 05 level and above.

  • This panel will be display after user has clicked once on the Details icon of a function code record.

  • The purposes of this panel is to allow users to do the followings:-

    • View the permissible actions' details of the selected function code.

    • Set the relevant access rights of the selected function code.

Function Authority Details (Pop-Up Window)

Action

This is the permitted function access modes.

Some available options, are as follows:-

  • SELECT

  • INSERT

  • UPDATE

  • DELETE

  • PRINT

  • INTERBRN

User Group

This is the user group which has been granted a certain function access modes permission.

Level

This is the user level which has been granted a certain function access modes permission, e.g., 01 level only.

1st Supervisor Group

This is the user group of the 1st supervisor who will be assigned to perform override approval for a certain function access modes, e.g., CRADM - Credit Administrators.

1st Supervisor Level

This is the user level and above of the 1st supervisor who will be assigned to perform override approval for a certain function access modes, e.g., 05 level and above.

2nd Supervisor Group

This is the user group of the 2nd supervisor who will be assigned to perform override approval for a certain function access modes, e.g., CRADM - Credit Administrators.

2nd Supervisor Level

This is the user level and above of the 2nd supervisor who will be assigned to perform override approval for a certain function access modes, e.g., 05 level and above.

  • This window will pop up after user has clicked once on the Details icon of an action code of the selected function code.

  • The purposes of the window is to allow users to do the followings:-

    • To maintain the user groups and user levels that will be allowed to a certain access right to the selected function.

    • To maintain the user groups and user levels of the required supervisor override on each selected function (if applicable).
