User Profile Function - Introduction

The main purposes of this function, are simply to allow users (usually system administrators) to create and maintain the system’s user profiles.

Each system’s user profile, stores the following main information:-

  • User Main Details: User ID, User Status, Staff IDs, Expiry Date of User and Password , and also Password policy

  • User Roles: Default User Group and Level, and additional temporary roles' user groups and levels within the user’s home branch, and also additional temporary roles' user groups and levels at other branches.

Upon successfully created each user profile, a system-generated password will be sent to the User, via email.

When the user logs into the system for the first time, he will be prompted to change his password.
