System Parameter Function - Introduction

There are many parameters that can be set at different levels in the system, to control different things, at the preference of the respective bank or financial institution.

The available levels of parameters in this system, are as follows:-

  • Branch (e.g., parameters that control cheque inventory by branch level, between Head Office and Branches)

  • System Module (e.g., parameters that control by module level, like the User ID and Password Settings under the KERN module)

  • Product (e.g., parameters that control respective product, like the pricing rate, due date pattern, and the non-performing loan handling under the CR module’s products)

The available levels of parameters in this system, are dependent on the applicable system design and business requirements covered by the purchased system licence, which are agreed upon during system implementation.

As such, this function basically allows the user (system administrator) to maintain the parameter settings at system module level.
