Common Code Function - Fields Description

At this function, user will come across various fields or columns that needs to be maintained with relevant data.

The descriptions of the respective field or column, are as follows:-

Code Category List (Panel)

<Code Category List> (Search Panel)

Code Category

This is the abbreviation code of a category list of values that can be maintained, e.g., DEPT.

Code Description

This is the name of the respective category a list of values, e.g., Department.

<Code Category List> (Sub-Panel)

Code Category

This is the abbreviation code of a category list of values that can be maintained, e.g., DEPT.

Description

This is the name of the respective category a list of values, e.g., Department.
Code Maintenance Details (Panel)

Code Category

This is the abbreviation code of a category list of values that can be maintained, e.g., DEPT.

Description

This is the name of the respective category a list of values, e.g., Department.

Code Maintenance Details (Sub-Panel)

Code

This is the abbreviation code of a value that has been maintained for a selected category of codes.

Description

This is the name or brief description of a value that has been maintained for a selected category of codes.

Create On

This is the date the codes' category has been created in the system.

Create By

This is the User ID of the user who has created the code for the selected codes' category.

Update On

This is the date the code for the selected codes' category has been updated in the system.

Update By

This is the User ID of user who has updated the list of codes for the selected codes' category.
Code Details (Pop-Up Window)

Code

This is the abbreviation code of a value that has been maintained for a selected category of codes.

Description

This is the name or brief description of a value that has been maintained for a selected category of codes.

  • This Code Details window will pop up, once user has clicked once on the Add button or Details button on the Code Maintenance Details panel.

  • The Code Details pop-up window allows users to :-

    • Create new code and description (for new record)

    • Overwrite the description of a code value (for existing record)
