Close Branch Function - Fields Description

At this function, user will come across various fields or columns that needs to be maintained with relevant data.

The descriptions of the respective field or column, are as follows:-

Close Branch (Panel)

Branch

This refers to the branch codes of the bank or financial institution that are available in the system.

Note:

The available branches that can be displayed for selection in this field, are dependent on the following conditions:-

  • The system license package purchased by the bank or financial institution.

  • The pre-setup made at the 'Branch' function.

  • If the authorised logon user’s home branch belongs to the 'Data Centre' branch type, then all the available pre-setup branches of the bank or financial institution will be displayed.

  • If the authorised logon user’s home branch belongs to the following branch types, then only the home branch of the logon user will be displayed:-

    • Head Office

    • Regional Office

    • Normal Branch

      • Mini Branch

Processing Date

This is the date of which periodic jobs or tasks have been processed.

Process Completed

This is the periodic job or task that has been processed e.g., S - SOD, E - EOD, M - EOM.

System Date

This is the date of the system, reflected at the respective branch.

Open Close Flag

This indicates the status of the branch, e.g., C - Close, which means the branch has closed for banking transactions to be performed.

  • This panel will be displayed upon the function screen opened.

  • The purpose of this panel is to allow user to view the list of branches' periodic process completion details, in order to perform 'Close' branch.
Close Branch Details (Pop-up window)

Module

This is the available area in system that related periodic jobs or tasks, e.g., AP, CIF, CS, KERN, and LN.

Processing Date

This is the date of which periodic jobs or tasks have been processed.

Process Completed

This is the periodic job or task that have been processed e.g., S - SOD, E - EOD, M - EOM.

System Date

This is the date of the system, reflected at the respective branch.

Open Close Flag

This indicates the status of the branch, e.g., C - Close, which means the branch has closed for banking transactions to be performed.

  • This window will be displayed after user has clicked once on the Details icon of a record at the Close Branch panel.

  • The purpose of this panel is window is to allow user to view the details of the respective branch’s periodic process completion details, in order to perform 'Close' branch.
