Manual Periodic Function - Fields Description

At this function, user will come across various fields or columns that needs to be maintained with relevant data.

The descriptions of the respective field or column, are as follows:-

Manual Periodic (Panel)

Time Zone

Basically time zone refers to a region that has a uniform standard time for many aspects such as legal, commercial and social matters. Time zones also tend to follow the boundaries of countries and their subdivisions.

This is the time zone of the respective branch of which the user is attempting to manually trigger the relevant periodic process, e.g., KL - GMT +8.00.

Previous Execution Info (Sub-Panel)

Last Periodic Type

This is the type of the periodic process that has been processed on the date value displayed at the 'Last Processing Date' field.

The options that can be displayed, are as follows:-

  • E - End-of-day processing (EOD)

  • S - Start-of-day processing (SOD)

  • M - End-of-month processing (EOM)

Last Processing Date

This is the most recent date a certain type of periodic process has been processed.

Current Execution (Sub-Panel)

Periodic Type

This is the type of periodic process of which user can manually trigger to take place.

The available options, are as follows:-

  • SOD (the 'Start-Of-Day' periodic jobs)

  • EOD (the 'End-Of-Day' periodic jobs)

  • EOM (the 'End-Of-Month' periodic jobs)

Processing Date

This is the date of which the selected periodic process is to be executed, or take place in system.
