Password Reset Function - Introduction
It is common for user password to be suspended due to numerous times of incorrect password input, in the attempt to log in to system. This system behaviour acts as part of the security control to protect data privacy in banks or financial institutions.
Thus, to resolve the failed login attempt, the relevant authority representative in the respective bank or financial institution will be required to reset the user’s password.
This function will be useful to allow the system administrator to reset the password.
Once the password has been reset, an email containing a temporary password will be sent to the user for the next course of action.
User will be notified of a new temporary password via the email address defined earlier via the 'Staff Profile' function.
Presently this function can only be used to reset password for the case of suspended User IDs or expired User Passwords.
