Audit Log Enquiry Function - Fields Description

At this function, user will come across various fields or columns that needs to be maintained with relevant data.

The descriptions of the respective field or column, are as follows:-

Audit Log Enquiry (Panel)

From Log Date

This is the starting date of a range of dates of activities that have been performed on system.

To Log Date

This is the ending date of a range of dates of activities that have been performed on system.

Search By

This is the area in system that the related activities have been performed.

The available options, are as follows:-

  • AP - Credit Application

  • CIF - Customer ID

  • GEN - General

  • PROD - Product

Item Value/ CA No./ Customer ID/ Search ID/ Product Code

This is the item value involved in the respective activity log, which can be viewed for audit purpose.

Note:

This field name will be changed from 'Item Value', as follows:-

  • If the 'Search By' field is set to 'AP - Credit Application', then this field name will change to 'CA No.', whereby a credit application number can be inputted.

  • If the 'Search By' field is set to 'CIF - Customer ID', then this field name will change to 'Customer ID', whereby a customer identity number can be inputted.

  • If the 'Search By' field is set to 'GEN - General', then this field name will change to 'Search ID', whereby related key record, such as pricing scheme code, and prepayment penalty scheme code, can be inputted.

  • If the 'Search By' field is set to 'PROD - Product', then this field name will change to 'Product Code', whereby a product code can be inputted.

Function

This is the respective function code and name in system of which activities have been performed, e.g, AP_CA_MAINT - CA Workspace.

Action

This is the code and description of the action performed on the respective system’s function.

Some options, are as follows:-

  • DELETE - Delete

  • INSERT - Insert

  • UPDATE - Update

Note: Different functions or reports can have different actions.

User Branch

This is the code and name of the branch of the bank or financial institution in system that user has performed some activities, e.g., 10000 - KUALA LUMPUR.

Note:

The available branches that can be displayed for selection in this field, are dependent on the following conditions:-

  • The system license package purchased by the bank or financial institution.

  • The pre-setup made at the 'Branch' function.

  • If the authorised logon user’s home branch belongs to the 'Data Centre' branch type, then all the available pre-setup branches of the bank or financial institution will be displayed.

  • If the authorised logon user’s home branch belongs to the following branch types, then only the home branch of the logon user will be displayed:-

    • Head Office

    • Regional Office

    • Normal Branch

      • Mini Branch

User ID

This is the identity number and name of user who has performed the activities in system, e.g., DENISE01 - Denise Robert.

Note:

The available User IDs that can be displayed for selection in this field, are dependent on the following conditions:-

  • The system license package purchased by the bank or financial institution.

  • The pre-setup made at the 'Branch' function.

  • The staff and user profiles created at the 'Staff Profile' function, and the 'User Profile' function.

  • If the authorised logon user’s home branch belongs to the 'Data Centre' branch type, then all the User IDs (in 'Active' status) from all the available branches of the bank or financial institution will be displayed.

  • If the authorised logon user’s home branch belongs to the following branch types, then only all the User IDs of the logon user’s home branch will be displayed:-

    • Head Office

    • Regional Office

    • Normal Branch

      • Mini Branch

Audit Log Listing (Sub-Panel)

Table Name

This is the name of the related database table of a function in system of which actions have been performed.

Note: The purpose of this field is to further filter the activity logs retrieved based on the selected search criteria on the above, and subsequently displayed, below.

Function

This is the function code and name in system of which activities have been performed, e.g, AP_CA_MAINT - CA Workspace.

User ID

This is the identity number of the user who has logged into system and performed the activity in system.

Log Seq

This is the unique system generated identity number for the respective activity log in system.

CPU Date

This is the central processing unit or server date and time, that an activity log has been captured in system.

Function

This is the respective function code and name in system of which activities have been performed, e.g, AP_CA_MAINT - CA Workspace.

Field Name

This is the name of the field in a function in system of which an action has been performed.

Table Name

This is the name of the related database table of a function in system of which an action has been performed.

Key Fields

This is the unique data which identifies that record from all the other records in the file or database.

Key Values

This is the value maintained for the key field of the record.

Before Change

This is the previous value of a field in a function where an action has been performed.

After Change

This is the new value of a field in a function where an action has been performed.

Description

This is the brief description of an activity that has been performed.

Log Date

This is the system application date that an activity log has been captured in system.

Action

This is the code and description of the action performed on the respective system’s function.

Some possible options that can be displayed, are as follows:-

  • DELETE - Delete

  • INSERT - Insert

  • UPDATE - Update

Note: Different functions or reports can have different actions.

Spvr ID 1

This is the user identity number of the first supervisor who has performed the override required for a function action in system.

Spvr ID 2

This is the user identity number of the second supervisor who has performed the override required for a function action in system.

Function LOV (Pop-up window)

Search

This is the keywords to be inputted to filter the list of values displayed, below.

Function Code

This is the code assigned to the respective system function of which an activity has been performed, e.g, AP_CA_MAINT - CA Workspace.

Function Name

This is the brief description of the respective function code of which an activity has been performed, e.g., CA Workspace.

  • This Function LOV panel will pop up after user has mouse over the 'Function' field, and then clicked once on it.

  • The purpose of this window is for user to select the Function Code for viewing of the activity.
