Country and State Function - Update Scenarios

Scenario 1: Update Details of Country Code Including State Codes

Details

Step 1

From the Tree Menu, search for the Country and State function, and then click once on it.

Step 2

By default, system will display the screen with unfiltered data.

Note:

  • All the country codes will be listed.

  • User needs to either go through the entire list or input the relevant search criteria, and then click once on the Refresh button.

Step 3

Click once on the Details icon of a record at the Country Codes Listing panel.

Step 4

System will display details of the selected country code, including the related state codes.

Step 5

Proceed to overwrite the relevant field values at the 'Country Details' panel, as follows:-

  • Mouse over each text field, and key in the related field or column value.

  • Mouse over each LOV field, and then click once on the ExpandedPrompt icon, to view the list of options. Thereafter, mouse over an option and then click once on it, to select.

  • Mouse over a radio button option of a field, and then click once on it, to select.

  • Click once on the Add button, for system to display a related window for data input of a certain record, and to confirm to populate the data of the record.

  • Click once on the Remove Delete icon of a record, to remove it.

  • Click once on the Details icon, for system to display the 'State Details' pop-up window, then proceed to overwrite the relevant field values and then click once on the OK button.

Step 6

Lastly, click once on the Save button. Upon confirmation on data saving, system will capture and save all data updated.

Note: Click once on the Cancel button, to discard all updates made.
