Alert Code Maintenance Function - Introduction

This function allows users to define different alert notification schemes that contain related conditions for notification to target customers (e.g., externally via SMS) or system users (e.g., internally within system via Email).

This function also allows users to customise alert details (including alert basic information, alert charge and recipient details), at the interval specified, and the method by which the notification is to be relayed.

Customisation of information updates can be segregated into several categories as follows:-

  • Real Time Alert: Instant alert notification arising from a certain effect/ action in system.

  • Delayed Alert: Delayed time alert notification arising from a certain effect/ action in system.

These alerts, in turn, can be relayed via the following communication modes:-

  • Email

  • SMS (Text Message)

The alert codes created in this function, that are in the 'A - Active' status can be selected and tagged to the relevant workflow stage at the 'Workflow Setup' function.
