Template Maintenance Function - Create Scenarios

Scenario 1: Create Document Template

Details

Step 1

From the Tree Menu, search for the Template function, and then click once on it.

Step 2

By default, system will display the available document records on the screen.

Step 3

Click once on the Details icon on a document record.

Step 4

System will display the Template Editor panel focus at the 'Document' section.

Step 5

Click once on the Add button, at the 'Document' section.

Step 6

Proceed to input value into all the relevant fields at the 'Document' section, as follows:-

  • Mouse over each text field, and key in the related field or column value.

  • Mouse over each LOV field, and then click once on the ExpandedPrompt icon, to view the list of options. Thereafter, mouse over an option and then click once on it, to select.

  • Click once on the Calendar icon, for system to display the calendar window for user to select the relevant date value for a field or column.

  • Click once on the Upload button, for system to display the 'Open Directory to Search for File' panel, for user to select the relevant file for attachment to be uploaded.

Note: Click once on the 'View Existing Template' hyperlink to preview the template.

Step 7

Lastly, click once on the Save button. Upon confirmation to proceed with data saving, system will capture and save data inputted into the system.

Note: Click once on the Cancel button, to discard all changes made.

Scenario 2: Create SMS Template

Details

Step 1

From the Tree Menu, search for the Template function, and then click once on it.

Step 2

By default, system will display the available document records on the screen.

Step 3

Click once on the Details icon of a document record.

Step 4

System will display the Template Editor panel focus at the 'Document' section.

Step 5

Click once on the 'SMS' section name, to go to the section.

Step 6

Click once on the Add button.

Step 7

Proceed to input value into all the relevant fields at the 'SMS' section, as follows:-

  • Mouse over each text field, and key in the related field or column value.

  • Mouse over each LOV field, and then click once on the ExpandedPrompt icon, to view the list of options. Thereafter, mouse over an option and then click once on it, to select.

  • Click once on the Calendar icon, for system to display the calendar window for user to select the relevant date value for a field or column.

Step 8

Lastly, click once on the Save button. Upon confirmation to proceed with data saving, system will capture and save data inputted into the system.

Scenario 3: Create Email Template

Details

Step 1

Click once on the Details icon of a document record.

Step 4

System will display the Template Editor panel focus at the 'Document' section.

Step 5

Click once on the 'Email' section name, to go to the section.

Step 6

Click once on the Add button at the 'Email' section.

Step 7

Proceed to input value into all the relevant fields at the 'Email' section, as follows:-

  • Mouse over each text field, and key in the related field or column value.

  • Mouse over each LOV field, and then click once on the ExpandedPrompt icon, to view the list of options. Thereafter, mouse over an option and then click once on it, to select.

  • Click once on the Calendar icon, for system to display the calendar window for user to select the relevant date value for a field or column.

  • Click once on the Upload button, for system to display the 'Open Directory to Search for File' panel, for user to select the relevant file for attachment to be uploaded.

Note: Click once on the Email Template Editor button, to define the required email layout, text and attachments.

Step 8

Lastly, click once on the Save button. Upon confirmation to proceed with data saving, system will capture and save data inputted.

Note: Click once on the Cancel button, to discard all changes made.
