General Ledger (GL) is essentially a set of numbered accounts used to track the financial transactions, and to prepare related financial reports in the bank or financial institution.

Journal GL is a GL for non-cash related transactions of the bank or financial institution.

This function simply allows users to maintain the journal GL codes by each available transaction code. This will ease the user during the selection for the relevant journal GL code at the respective journal transaction screen in system.
