GL Set (General) Maintenance Function - Create Scenarios

Scenario 1: Create 'General' GL Scheme

Details

Step 1

From the Tree Menu, search for the GL Set (General) Maintenance function, and then click once on it.

Step 2

By default, system will display the screen with unfiltered data.

Note:

  • All the available 'General' GL scheme records will be listed.

  • User needs to either go through the entire list or input values into the relevant search criteria fields, and then click once on the Refresh button.

Step 3

Click once on the CreateNewRecord button.

Step 4

System will display the GL Set Details panel without any data.

Step 5

Mouse over the Ccy field, and then click once on the ExpandedPrompt icon, to view the list of options. Thereafter, mouse over an option and then click once on it, to select.

Step 6

System will display a list of related GL fields of various applicable GL categories.

Step 7

Double-click on a GL field record at the GL Set Details panel.

Note: Repeat this Step 7,8 and 9 for each relevant Gl field record before proceed to Step 10.

Step 8

System will enable the related GL columns of the selected GL field record, selected.

Note: Repeat this Step 7,8 and 9 for each relevant Gl field record before proceed to Step 10.

Step 9

Proceed to input relevant column values, and then click once on the OK button.

Note: Repeat this Step 7,8 and 9 for each relevant Gl field record before proceed to Step 10.

Step 10

Click once on the Save button. Upon confirmation on data saving, system will capture and save all data inputted.

Note: Click once on the Cancel button, to discard all inputs made.
