Address & Contact Function - Update Scenarios

Scenario 1: Change Postal Address, or Email Address, or Phone Number

Details

Step 1

From the Tree Menu, search for the Address & Contact function, and then click once on it.

Step 2

System will display the Customer Search Criteria panel.

Step 3

Proceed to input the search criterion.

Step 4

Then, click once on the relevant search criterion button.

Step 5

System will retrieve records of existing customer and displayed accordingly at the Customer Listing pop-up window, if there are more than one record found.

Step 6

Double-click on an existing customer record.

Step 7

The details of the selected customer together with the related correspondence addresses, will be displayed.

Step 8

Proceed to make changes at the relevant sub-section under the 'Address' section, located at the 'Customer Address Maintenance' panel, whichever applicable:-

  • Postal Address:

    • Change corresponding address by unchecking the previously checked box of an address record, and then check the relevant address record’s check box at the 'Corresponding Address' column.

    • Change details of an existing address record by clicking once on the Details icon of an address record. System will display * Postal Address Editor* pop-up window. Proceed to overwrite the relevant address fields and click once on the OK button.

    • Add a new address record by clicking once on the Add button. System will display Postal Address Editor pop-up window. Proceed to key in the relevant details and click once on the OK button.

    • Remove an address record by clicking once on the Remove Delete icon of an address record.

  • EMail:

    • Change corresponding address by unchecking the previously checked box of an address record, and then check the relevant address record’s check box at the 'Corresponding Address' column.

    • Change details of an existing address record by clicking once on the Details icon of an address record. System will display Email Editor pop-up window. Proceed to overwrite the relevant address fields and click once on the OK button.

    • Add a new address record by clicking once on the Add button. System will display Email Editor pop-up window. Proceed to key in the relevant details and click once on the OK button.

    • Remove an address record by clicking once on the Remove Delete icon of an address record.

Step 9

Proceed to make changes at the relevant sub-section under the 'Contact Info' section, located at the 'Customer Address Maintenance' panel, whichever applicable:-

  • Change details of an existing contact information record by clicking once on the Details icon of a phone contact record. System will display Contact Information Editor pop-up window. Proceed to overwrite the relevant fields and click once on the OK button.

  • Add a new contact information record by clicking once on the Add button. System will display Contact Information Editor pop-up window. Proceed to key in the relevant details and click once on the OK button.

  • Remove a contract information record by clicking once on the Remove Delete icon of a phone contact record.

Step 10

Lastly, click once on the Save button to save all data. Upon confirmation on data saving, system will capture and save data updated.

Note: Click once on the Cancel icon, to discard all changes made.
