Collection Workdesk - Introduction
The purpose of the debt collection department in the respective bank or financial institution is to pursue for payments of debts owed by customers.
Thus, this function will be useful as it allows users (the debt collector or collector team lead or collector manager) to do the following, during the daily debt collection process in a bank or financial institution:-

To view the list of delinquent accounts by debt collection plan (days past due range) that have been assigned to him (debt collector), or his team (debt collection team lead), or his teams (debt collection manager), with the following accounts' breakdown details, subject to the available filters:-

New accounts been assigned

Accounts with PTP in the 'Active' status

Accounts that have breached the maximum number of times broken PTP allowed

Account with no repayment made since the facility was released

Credit Facility Product

Debt Collection Plan

Customer Type (Individual or Non-Individual)

Debt Collection Event (e.g., Call Borrower, PTP, Print Letters and Reminders and Transfer to Litigation)

Assigned Solicitor handling the related legal proceeding

To perform quick search for delinquent account(s) that have been assigned to him, or his team, or his teams.
Basically, this 'Collection Workdesk' function screen will display the overview of the progress of debt collection cases (delinquent accounts).
However, once user has clicked twice on any hyperlinked number of debt collection cases (delinquent accounts), system will display the 'Collection Workspace' screen with each related account’s details and events that can be performed.
