Holiday Function - Fields Description

At this function, user will come across various fields or columns that needs to be maintained with relevant data.

The descriptions of the respective field or column, are as follows:-

Holiday Maintenance (Panel)

Country

This refers to the applicable code and name of a country for a country holiday, e.g., MY - Malaysia. This is a search criteria data input field.

Note: Country codes are user definable via the Country and State function.

Year

This refers to the applicable year of a holiday. This is a search criteria data input field.

<Country Holidays Listing> (Panel)

Country

This refers to the applicable code and name of a country for a country holiday, e.g., MY - Malaysia.

Month

This refers to the month in a year of the holiday.

The possible months that can be displayed are as follows:-

  • January

  • February

  • March

  • April

  • May

  • June

  • July

  • August

  • September

  • October

  • November

  • December

Day

This refers to the day in the month of a holiday, e.g. 1 to 31 days in the month.

Year

This refers to the applicable year of a holiday.

Description

This refers to the description of a holiday, e.g., Labour Day or Independence Day.

Holiday Editor (Pop-Up Window)

Country Code

This refers to the applicable code and name of a country for a country holiday, e.g., MY - Malaysia.

Note:

  • Country codes are user definable via the Country and State function.

  • Presently, since the only option allowed is the home country of the bank or financial institution, and the value of this field is automatically selected, and disabled.

Month

This refers to the month in a year of the holiday.

The possible months that can be selected are as follows:-

  • January

  • February

  • March

  • April

  • May

  • June

  • July

  • August

  • September

  • October

  • November

  • December

Day

This refers to the day in the month of a holiday, e.g. 1 to 31 days in the month.

Year

This refers to the applicable year of a holiday.

Note: Input '0' value means that a particular country holiday falls on the same date every year.
