Alternatively, if the user has access rights, he can also maintain the customer’s postal address or other contact information through the Customer Maintenance function. The advantage of the 'Customer Maintenance' is that, there more details that can be viewed and updated, other than address and contact informations.

The possible details of the addresses and contact information that can be maintained are dependent on the Customer Information File (CIF) datasets that have been applied to the 'Customer Maintenance' function.
