Activity Log Enquiry Function - Fields Description

At this function, user will come across various fields or columns that needs to be maintained with relevant data.

The descriptions of the respective field or column, are as follows:-

Activity Log Enquiry (Panel)

From Log Date

This is the starting date of a range of dates of activities that have been performed on system.

To Log Date

This is the ending date of a range of dates of activities that have been performed on system.

Function/Report

This is to indicate whether user wish to view the activity log concerning a function or report in the system.

The available options, are as follows:-

  • Function

  • Report

Mouse over the respective option and click once on it, to select.

Search By

This is the area in system e.g. AP - Credit Application, or CS - Common Business Services, or LN - Loans module, that is applicable to the respective activity log.

Note: This field is only applicable, provided the 'Function' option has been selected at the 'Function/Report' field.

Function

This is the function code and name in system of which activities have been performed, e.g., AP_CA_MAINT - CA Workspace.

Note:

  • This field is only applicable, provided the 'Function' option has been selected at the 'Function/Report' field.

  • This field will only be enabled for data input, after the field value has been selected at the 'Search By' field.

Report Code

This is the code and name of the respective report stored in the bank or financial institution’s system, of which related activities have been captured and listed, e.g., CR30001 - Error Correction Transaction Listing.

Note: T his field is only applicable, provided the 'Report' option has been selected at the 'Function/Report' field.

User Branch

This is the code and name of the branch of the bank or financial institution in system that user has performed some activities, e.g., 10000 - KUALA LUMPUR.

Note:

The available branches that can be displayed for selection in this field, are dependent on the following conditions:-

  • The system license package purchased by the bank or financial institution.

  • The pre-setup made at the 'Branch' function.

  • If the authorised logon user’s home branch belongs to the 'Data Centre' branch type, then all the available pre-setup branches of the bank or financial institution will be displayed.

  • If the authorised logon user’s home branch belongs to the following branch types, then only the home branch of the logon user will be displayed:-

    • Head Office

    • Regional Office

    • Normal Branch

      • Mini Branch

User ID

This is the identity number and name of user who has performed the activities in system, e.g., DENISE01 - Denise Robert.

Note:

The available User IDs that can be displayed for selection in this field, are dependent on the following conditions:-

  • The system license package purchased by the bank or financial institution.

  • The pre-setup made at the 'Branch' function.

  • The staff and user profiles created at the 'Staff Profile' function, and the 'User Profile' function.

  • If the authorised logon user’s home branch belongs to the 'Data Centre' branch type, then all the User IDs (in 'Active' status) from all the available branches of the bank or financial institution will be displayed.

  • If the authorised logon user’s home branch belongs to the following branch types, then only all the User IDs of the logon user’s home branch will be displayed:-

    • Head Office

    • Regional Office

    • Normal Branch

      • Mini Branch

  • This panel will be displayed upon the system function opened.

  • The purpose of this panel is for user to select the relevant search criteria for system to retrieve and display the relevant system’s activity logs.

Activity Log (Panel)

User ID

This is the identity number and name of user who has performed the activities in system, e.g., DENISE01 - Denise Robert.

Log Date

This is the system application date that an activity log has been captured in system.

CPU Date

This is the central processing unit or server date and time, that an activity log has been captured in system.

Function

This is the function code and name in system of which a particular activity has been performed, e.g., AP_CA_MAINT - CA Workspace.

Action

This is the action that has been performed on a function in system.

Some actions, are as follows:-

  • ABORT_FL - Abort Force Logout

  • FUNCACCESS - Function Access

  • FRC_LOGOUT - Force Logout

  • LOGIN - Login

  • LOGOUT - Logout

  • KILL_SESS - Kill Session

Reason

This is the reason for a failed activity attempt.

IP Address

This is the Internet Protocol address of the terminal or device where user has accessed to perform a particular activity.

Note: An Internet Protocol is part of the systematically laid out interconnected grid that governs online communication by identifying both the initiating devices and various Internet destinations, for two-way communication.

Spvr ID 1

This is the User ID of the 1st supervisor who has been assigned to perform override for a certain function access modes, e.g., CRADM - Credit Administrators.

Spvr ID 2

This is the User ID of the 2nd supervisor who has been assigned to perform override for a certain function access modes, e.g., CRADM - Credit Administrators.

  • This panel will be displayed, after user has clicked once on the Search button.

  • The purpose of this panel is for user to view the retrieved system’s activity logs.

Function LOV (Pop-up window)

Search

This is the keywords to be inputted to filter the list of values displayed, below.

Function Code

This is the code assigned to the respective system function of which an activity has been performed, e.g, AP_CA_MAINT - CA Workspace.

Function Name

This is the brief description of the respective function code of which an activity has been performed, , e.g., CA Workspace.

  • This Function LOV panel will pop up after user has mouse over the 'Function' field, and then clicked once on it.

  • The purpose of this window is for user to select the function code of the related activities that have been performed in system to be displayed.

Report Code LOV (Pop-up window)

Search

This is the keywords to be inputted to filter the list of values displayed, below.

Report Code

This is the code and name of the respective report stored in the bank or financial institution’s system, of which related activities have been captured and listed, e.g., CR30001 - Error Correction Transaction Listing.
